Andy Lalino

Director / Producer / Screenwriter / Art Director / Graphic Design / Web Designer

Andy was born in the Bronx, NY in 1967, and moved to Florida in 1970.  He has had a lifelong interest in horror/sci-fi, and FILTHY is his first big-budget short film.  Andy is a 1990 graduate of the University of Miami Film School.

John Karliss

Director / Producer

John was born and raised in Hollywood, FL in  1968 and has lived there most of his life.  In 1986 he attended The University of Miami film school.  There he met his partner Andy.  After graduation in 1990, John worked in the TV and Motion Picture Industry for 11 years.  He has worked in a variety of capacities on several different projects, but FILTHY marks his "professional" debut as co-director. He is very happy to have this opportunity and loves everyone on the crew for all their hard work and sacrifice; truly.

Sandy is Andy's (Andy & Sandy...easy to remember...) wife and contributed to the great meals (cooked by Mama Lalino and Mama Karliss) during production.  Sandy was born in Michigan and moved to Florida in 1982.  Sandy currently works in the mortgage industry.

Dave’s love of photography began at the early age of eight.  By twelve, his father helped him find an enlarger at a local garage sale and set up a darkroom in their home.  After graduating from Clearwater High School, Dave moved on to study the “moving picture” at the University of South Florida and graduated from the College of Fine Arts in 1988. 

While expanding his film knowledge at USF, Dave also learned the Video/TV side on the job:  Starting in ‘85, Dave controlled the fader bar that brought up the “Home Shopping Network” from a local show to a nationwide broadcast; he became Senior Cinematographer/Videographer at the prestigious Tampa production company, “Telemation”; and then in ’95 he started his own production company, “Magic Hour Inc.”

Dave’s passion for shooting film has earned him several national awards for his work in Commercials, Music Videos, Infomercials, and Movie Productions like “Filthy”.

Tom Linkiewicz / Illusion Films, Inc.

Tom was born in New Bedford Massachusetts in 1969.  He is a twelve time national award winner for editing and has a passion for his work.  He is an admirer of filmmakers, Martin Scorsese and Alfred Hitchcock.

Eddie Sturgeon / Enotide

Sound Designer / Music Composer

Eddie was born in Merced, California in the early Seventies. He moved to Florida in 1978, to a small beachfront community. By the mid-'80s, he was engrossed with Hip Hop culture, becoming a Disc Jockey for a local club.

Then he got involved with the whole audio engineering side of music and sound design.

He attended Full Sail in the Late nineties, graduating with an A.S. in Sound Recording.

Julie, Jules, Bartel, Originally from Oklahoma, moved to Florida in 1988.  Received my BS in Business Administration with a minor in Fashion & Merchandising, Marketing, Management, Finance, and Mathematics from Oklahoma State University in 1988.  Been designing and tailoring garments for over 20 years.  Have experience designing and developing wardrobe and/or set props for a variety of different productions.

As a born and raised Chicagoan, special effects makeup artist Joy Patricoski moved to Florida in 1999 in order to focus on her two true loves, 
makeup and movies. Successes range from feature length films,  plays,  to short films such as "Filthy"..

Brian Angeloff was born in Stow, Ohio in 1978, and moved to Orlando Fla. in
1999 to attend Joe Blasco Make-up center East. Brian has had the love for
Horror ever since he can remember.

 

Ron Keller

Ron Keller has been a Special FX Coordinator for 10 years.  He has coordinated FX for many different venues including Live Action Stuntshows, Theater, Film, TV and Outdoor/Indoor Fireworks.  Ron is an Instructor of FX at the United Stunman's Association.  Film Credits include  Filthy, Shadow Raven, and Darkness.  Other clients also include  Quixstar, Ford, The History Channel, Microsoft, Retevase, Encore Networks, and Espn.  He also ownes KFX , a full service FX and Stunt company that provides one stop shopping to the action industry.

Clay Van Sickle has worked extensively in the entertainment business for more than 10 years.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre with a specialization in Technical Theatre from Baldwin Wallace College. While at BW he worked as the scene shop foreman where he learned welding and woodworking.  He also studied prop building, and Sound and Lighting Design. 

Since joining KFX, Clay has put his wide range of skills to use in a variety of positions which range from performing high falls and burn stunts, to work as a Pyrotechnician and Armorer.
